“DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., February, 3, 2015- The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) announced today that Volunteers of America, the national, nonprofit organization, will serve as the title sponsor for the Tour’s stop in North Texas. The Volunteers of America North Texas Shootout will be held April 27-May 3, 2015, and will be played at Las Colinas Country Club in Irving, Texas, for the third consecutive year.” Courtesy of LPGA Press Release
Yes, that is right. The North Texas LPGA Shootout has a Title Sponsor. So what is the big deal?

The big deal is not just that one of the best LPGA events on the schedule has a title sponsor but more importantly who the sponsor is and what they represent.

Great Golf Tournament to Watch
I will be back in the Media Center for my third year of coverage of the 2015 North Texas LPGA Shootout. I’ll also be part of the SyncLab Media operations who will offering insight on what is going on Outside the Ropes of the event that make if a great experience for the fans. Why did I choose the LPGA Event to cover? Because it is an awesome event and one that allows fans the opportunity to get up close to world’s best women professional golfers.
Where can fans find MBG at the Event? There is no telling where I will be at the Las Colinas Country Club the week of the tournament. Why are you just on G+? Making a long story very short..I have been actively online in the social spaces for over 15 years now and have found from being in all of the spaces..Facebook, Twitter and so forth..that Google+ offers me more tools to use to satisfy my personal, social and professional interests all in one place.
