Join Me at Golf School

September 28, 2010 By mrbg

duke_oncourse Every year about the first of October I start thinking about my golf game and what I need to do to work on during the off season.  And each year I keep saying I am going to do something about it.  Well, this year, I thought if I blogged about what I want to do to improve my golf game it will pressure me to make it happen..or not.

So what’s the plan?

Dave PageDave Bisbee, PGA Golf instructor in Sedona, AZ (and my business partner) and I take a few minutes each week in our weekly staff meetings to ‘Talk Shop’ about my game.  We quickly agree I need to quiet playing the golf course between my ears and move onto the real golf course more.  So, that is the plan for me this off season is to play more golf..but still, there are things about my game I need to work on.  What is the plan to get my game in shape?

Golf School Here I Come

I have found from years of taking private lessons, going to clinics and attending golf schools that Golf Schools fit me the best.  They are more focused on the entire game which highlights my weaknesses quickly so that can be worked on more specifically.  All of this is done in three or four days instead of months of individual lessons.  Plus, the cost is more effective.

I also prefer going to a out of town golf school so I can get away from the daily chores hanging around the office and the house begging for me to work on.  The dedication and focus for a few days out of town really accomplishes a lot mentally and physically for my golf game.  I always return home from a golf school to take the tee with a lot more confidence and enjoy the game much more.

So, the plan is, I am going to golf school. Not sure where or when but I am going to golf school sometime between Nov 2010 and February 2011.   Do you want to join me?  If so, contact me and I will give you the details.
