Business + Purpose + Fun = Business Golf

March 15, 2010 By mrbg

What is our Mission I get asked frequently..

What do I get out of playing golf?

I have not developed a pat answer to this question primarily because each time I play a round of golf I get something else out of it. Naturally, when I play business golf I get another step closer to making a business connection.  When I play recreationally, I make anther step at having fun in my live and when I play in a competitive round I get another step closer to finding out what I have inside to push for a win.

Each time I pick up a golf club I learn something else about me and golf..sometimes not in that order.  What all this means has to do with my purpose in playing golf.

Purpose in Playing

Naturally, now I know the effective ways of playing business golf I enjoy it more and my true purpose is now based on something more than a past-time.  I find having purpose in playing golf makes me want to play more.

Everyone should have a purpose in doing anything they do.  Without purpose whatever is being done is usually not worth doing.  There are many people who have to have a purpose and others who find purpose in anything they do.

Today, many people who played golf left playing golf because they did not have a purpose.  Many of these same people were the ones who said a few years ago that they play golf because they needed something to do that had no purpose.  What they found out today is funding a golf habit can be daunting without a purpose.

Business Golf offers a pure purpose in playing golf many people need.

Fun = Purpose

Of course there is the Fun.  At the bases of anything a person does should be enjoyment.  If what they are doing is not enjoyable, or fun, the purpose of doing it makes for unhappy times.  When what someone does is fun then the purpose of doing it is more rewarding.  If the purpose of playing recreational golf or competitive golf is not fun anymore then naturally not wanting to play golf would be a normal reaction.

However, if playing golf with someone for the purpose of getting to know them and them to get to know you as part of building a new business opportunity, then the purpose of playing golf changes to being Fun.  Top the round of golf off with gaining business then a New Purpose to playing golf has been developed.

Business Golf could be the New Purpose for you to play more golf.  Let me know how I can help.
