Natalie Gulbis played well at the North Texas LPGA ShootOut.
This years’s North Texas LPGA Shootout started off in the Media Center and then lead SyncLab Media to take a greater role in covering the event. Here is where it started.
Maybe I will be able to run down a few things of interest the TV will not cover at the North Texas LPGA Shootout that is being held this week in Las Colinas..or Irving as it is known by the natives…Texas.
My focus…or what I have been asked to write about by my sponsor SyncLab Media… will be on Business Golf (duh) and how businesses at the top level of golf events use professional golf events for business.
This will take a bit to do since there is a lot that goes on here and probably will lead to a series of blogs I will write over the next few months.
So, hang on..I’m about to Get After It!
As far as title sponsors for a professional golf event go you can’t get much more supportive than The Nexus Club is of the North Texas LPGA Shootout. Even their website is focused on the new LPGA event being held at the Las Colinas Country Club in Irving, Texas.
The LPGA made their announcement of this event on January 10, 2013 and The Nexus Club stepped up to make it happen.
The North Texas Shootout is owned by The Nexus Club, a non- profit organization dedicated to presenting world-class golf, while benefiting youth girl’s golf in Dallas. With a purse of $1.3 million this tournament is sure to be a competitive and exciting new tour event.
All of Texas and the world of women’s golf is excited to have the LPGA back in Texas and especially in North Texas. Golfers here in Texas can only hope this event is a huge success and remains here for ever. So far, success seems to be a given.
Let me know how I can help.
