Back in 2000 Tiger Woods lead millions of people to the game of golf.
In 2009 he had a car accident and lead millions of golfers away from golf.
Now it is 2019, and Tiger is again luring millions of people to play golf.
Will golfers stay or will they run?
There have only been a few of the golf legends over time who have moved people to play golf as Tiger Woods does.
Bobby Jones spent his life preaching golf to people. Gary Player remains golf’s greatest ambassador. However, it was not until Tiger Woods stepped on the stage of golf that people around the world started taking golf seriously.
In the early 2000s playing golf became a respectable activity every demographic, age group and gender could play just about anytime they wanted to play. Opening golf to the general public was a HUGE change brought on by Tiger Woods. For that Golf should be grateful.
Tiger now in his 40’s. He is entering the ‘statesman’ status of golf meaning his presences on the golf course means anything could happen. Tiger has grown into being an icon of the golf industry. Just about everything Tiger touches turns to gold.
